I discovered a broken cable in the capote of my 360 as I was replacing the many elastic bands in the top. I believe it's the upper fin canvas cable. It runs from the very tip of the left fin, along the outer seam of the fin canvas, and then attaches to midpoint of the frame top. I think that the purpose of the cable is to keep the upper fin canvas taught against the lower canvas when the top is up. It seems to have broken where it was pinched at the frame hinge points. I note that the cable on the right side is starting to fray too. Has anyone replaced this cable?

I'm reluctant to replace this cable because the glued canvas has to be detached from the fin tip. The capote manual advises not to do this unless it's necessary; "because if the procedure for glueing the canvas to the arch is not performed correctly, it could cause visible imperfections in the soft top when in the closed position." I also don't know where to get a replacement cable.

If anyone has done this, I'd be interested in their experience of removing the cable at the fin tip, if the cable housing must be removed too, and where they sourced the replacement cable. Thanks.
