If anyone has just the cat back installed on their 458 can you please give me some feedback on what I'm hearing. I've noticed that after 5K RPM's the sound of the exhaust deadens in the interior. From 1-about 4.8K RPM's it sounds like a grumbling beast, but after I can barely hear it in the car! It sounds like someone hit the mute button. After recording the sound on my Iphone and comparing it to the ones online it sounds relatively similar. Only concern is that up to 4.8K RPM's it's so loud it nearly deafening. Any thoughts will be appreciated. If all else fails may just exchange for a complete exhaust system (headers, cats, and exhaust). I've attached a short vid of the sound in the interior.
