Just noticed capristo do various cf parts including the rear diffuser and front wings - anybody any experience of them, good fit etc?

My car arrives next week and I have cf seats, wheel and dash but skimped on the diffuser and wings to keep the price sensible. The capristo kit looks about half price for the diffuser and I might be tempted.

I'm local to capristo, I'll be happy to go by and give you an honest opinion if they have them in stock. Otherwise they may have to order them and ship them to you.

I have preserved the front winglets and the rear fog light surrounds which actually covers the top of the diffuser and is in my opinion all you can see. I also ordered the capristo remote exhaust valve opener all for £3000 plus tax £600 total £3600 or approx euros 3400 all fitted. A bargain compared with Ferrari. They should be fitted in about 10/14 days

I see your point re the rear fog light covers. Are you ordering direct from capristo Germany? Their site is showing around €3200 inc vat for wings and covers. Not sure what exhaust remote costs.

Let us know how it turns out. I get my car next week so will seriously look at some exterior parts from capristo by the end of jan.

Hope the weather holds for my delivery as when my California was delivered in jan 2010 it was snowing and as the roads are not cleared where I live in Ireland I was trapped for a week - torture!

Thanks for the info. My car arrives at the dealer tomorrow and I collect it saturday so the excitment is mounting.

Please post some pics when you have the cf fitted. I assume your supplier/fitter is in the south and as my car will be in the ireland and scotland (mostly) I will order direct from capristo and get greypaul in edinburgh to fit, if you are happy with the quality that is! The savings are not to be sniffed at.

Blessington in wicklow but from Scotland. As you will know vrt and road tax are killers here so I keep certain cars on uk plates in storage near Glasgow. No resale here either now Easy trip to fly over to visit friends and thrash the highlands. Changed the vrt rules so you can drive for 7 days before registering to have tax calculated within 28 days. I will keep it here for a week before heading for the border and then bring it back for a month in the summer. Do you bring yours home as it were? don't forget the port tunnel if you do, best €10 you will spend!

What colour etc? So many choices these days but I went for titanio and Nero, cf seats etc Had front where winglets mounted done in titanio as well so we will see how that looks in the flesh. Not bothering mounting the front plate either as immune from uk points as I have an irish licence. Should get pic tomorrow so I will post it with more at the weekend. Did you do millbrook a few months ago? Great craic. Did dunsfold top gear track in November in 12c which was good but prefer 458. Have 12c for June but might move deposit to 12c spider or forget it, noise and looks not doing it for Not going for 458 spider but might go for used ff in a year or so after I get a drive, as long as it has passenger display - how cool is that.

    2 sleeps to go!
