The tips the exhaust systems come with are all stainless, those carbon fiber tips are optional from Capristo.

Thanks for your order, and great talking to you. enjoy!

I put in a email request to capristo just now to find out pricing for the carbon fibre tips. I may hear back as early as midnight tonight and i will post the additional cost for these tips.

Also, if there is anyone that wanted to order that missed the deadline, checking on these tips will buy a little more time for us, so feel free to email me asap and I will do my best to get your order in.

    Thanks!

nice, keep us updated. Now that I think about it, they look amazing in that picture but how much of the tip would you really see? In anycase, it could be worth it depending on the cost.

I think I would just duct tape the exhaust to the roof so show off those sexy tips....;)

I bought my capristo used with about 5,000 miles on it and it was driven hard by the prvious owner in his car. The carbon fibre wrapped tips did not stand up well to the heat etc. I ended up just peeling away from what was left and shining them up.

    Just my $ 0.02

hmm, thats a very good point. I got CF heatshields for my evo bumper and they held up awesome. They turned a little greenish (which is normal for CF) but no peeling. I know another evo owner who had his wing (also CF) start peeling and thats because they use crappy CF from the factory.

Also the CF inside my RS4 engine is holding up very well to the heat but is also turning greenish. I talked to a person very good with CF and he said that real CF will turn greenish, thats how you tell the good stuff from the bad stuff (the peeling kind).

    I wonder what Capristo uses.

Thank you to everyone who placed an order. Again as I have told some of you VIA email/phone, the Carbon fiber tips are currently unavailable according to Capristo. We also appreciate everyone's patience with the slight delay we are having with shipping from Capristo due to their holiday. Please do not hesitate to send us an email with any questions and we'll be happy to assist.

    Thanks!

    Nick
