Experiences on a spider? Stock exhaust on the way out, looking for a replacement (will be putting on fabspeed headers at the same time). I take the car out with my wife most of the time and often listen to the stereo, so don't want too loud (a little louder than stock fine). Prefer a higher pitched sound + unvalved exhaust as would like some road presence without having to ring its neck. Have heard Capristo level 1 is a good match, however very few references to it online (haven't come across a video). Other option is Tubi but understand these make a deeper sound.
I had a Capristo Stage 1 on my F355 spider, along with the Capristo replacement exhaust valve. I liked it a lot. Just be warned, even stage 1 is noticeably louder, even at idle, and when the bypass valve opened up, all hell broke lose. Yes, all Capristos have a much higher pitch than Tubi, with the exception of the Capristo twin sound...which is deeper and not recommended. I would recommend the Capristo Stage 1 in combination with the Forza Componenti valve controller, which lets you leave the valve open all the time, or instantly return it to stock function of only opening on full throttle. BTW, if the fabspeed headers for the 360 are 4 into 1 like they make for the F355, I would not recommend...it makes for a deeper tone. At least that is what I noticed on a couple friends 355s that had Fabspeed. Stock if 4 into 2 into 1. Unless you need headers, just leave them alone, or if you need to replace them, I would get Capristo.
