This appears to be relatively new as it wasn't on the Capristro website until the last month or so....or perhaps I missed hearing about it. For those of us (which is probably most of us!) that have modified exhaust systems that create the occasional emissions-related CEL, I would think this may help. Has anyone installed this or have any thoughts to share about it?

I had a similar device on a modified Supra TT I used to own. The car had a straight pipe, eliminating the cats, which set off the check engine light immediately. The O2 sensor simulator solved the issue completely. The car even passed the Maryland emissions test with out cats! I would recommend this device to anyone who suffers with check engine lights due to running no cats. Seems like an outrageous price though, the Supra O2 sensor simulator was $150. Ferrari tax I guess.

Just thought I would share an update on this. I still haven't seen much in the way of experiences shared with O2 simulators. I thought I would dive in and make the purchase on this Capristo O2 simulator in hopes that it would be a solid solution for the CEL dilemma. But after taking the time to review the instruction manual I found that you have to "train" the simulator on the stock setup (e.g. stock headers, cats, and muffler) and then install your aftermarket headers, cats (or straight pipe), muffler, etc. Seems logical, but given that I already have my aftermarket system installed it wouldn't be feasible to reinstall my stock system just to train the simulator software. So if you're looking into this product I presume it would be best to do it at the time where you are getting ready to replace your stock exhaust system (not after it's already been done).
