I have removed my A/C compressor and don't want to remove all the lines etc.
Trying to find some screw on caps to close the lines so they don't get filled with crap.
Looking for a quick and dirty fix for the weak/lazy mechanic.
Any other recommendations I should do to keep the rest of the system intact?

    Thanks

    Your hose fitting pic?
Perhaps is like mine with #8 and #10 port covers when new hose is delivered as sealed?

Cut some fingers off rubber gloves and stretch them over the hose end fittings and then hold in place/seal with electrical tape

I did this exact same thing. Got tired of moving compressor every belt change. I also removed condenser to improve cooling.

On the compressor side, I just used Silicone caps. On the condenser side, I got fancier and used the correct thread size bolts. Basically you are looking for a short bolt with a hollow center. I have calipers and a thread gage, so it was easy for me to find the right bolt. I know one was 3/4-16, but not sure of the other off the top of my head. I think for the other bolt, I had one that matched the threads but was a standard bolt, so I just drilled it out.
