    gents, is anyone familiar with this car on ebay Item #320427709143. It is a blk/blk coupe serial# zffpr41a850099948. The serial tag looks funny.

    I read a post a few days ago from the Previous owner who is on F-Chat. Sorry, but I can't remember who it is, but I do remember him saying the car is well sorted. All issues like valve guides and exhaust have been taken care of. I would find out when the last major service was done, it says the miles, but not the month and year. It could have been 3 or 4 years for all you know and then would need another. Also look into the clutch, I would guess its not original and may need to be replaced soon as well.

    I put my final offer in with the dealer on this one, unfortunately I missed the Black tan 5.2 coupe with the nice extras 2 weeks ago by 1 day.Does it appear to anyone else that this car may need rear coil overs? that's quite a camber looking at the rear shot.

    I am a little rammy sometimes, I looked at the car fax and it has had trouble passing the smog test and though the service was done 5k ago it is coming up on four years since it was done. I will honour my offer but I won't be sad if I don't get it.

    With that serial #(99948) it is one of the 1st 355s in the US. The 2 that were at Monterey weekend in August of '94 were 100025 and 40, red and yellow cars. The very early 355s have different heads that supposedly flow better than later '95s. It looks like a great deal to me for the milage and what has been done to it, service wise. It even has the tool kit and the owners pouch.
    According to serial numbers I have it is the next car after the last '95 348 spider 99947. Maybe its the 1st US 355?
