Looks a lot like a Koenigsegg Agera R with LaFerrari Aperta's cockpit and rear decklid. Interesting inspiration to combine those two cars. :)

    All the best,
    Andrew.

With my limited 3D abilities, and no money to get sued for copy right :D , I use the best car features to make my perfect design. I have a CNC machine to make a 1/5 scale car soon.

I added a Mercedes concept rear and ended up fusing a new tail light design :)

If I remember right Dick Teague had 2 of them. I remember that they were in the garage across the driveway in the house in Franklin Village but never went in there. Lisa ended up with one which has already been sold. Jeff and Rick jointly owned the other (I think that was the story). Somehow I am thinking it was sold a while back.

After the program was cancelled Bizzarini finished out a couple from unassembled parts.

Someone must have the count of all of the AMX/3s.

    Jeff

I am perplexed by the line/edge coming off the Bangle Butt that goes into the C pillar. Does not appear to correlate to anything else like a kink in the rear door glass or a continuation hint on the B pillar. A line that they did not know what to do with.

instead of ending at the decklid like BMW would have done they just randomly ran it up the C Pillar

one rule: there aren't any rules anymore

Lexus clearly has no idea of where to go so they just throw **** at the wall and se if anything bothers to stick. Pity the clay modeler who has to make this hodgepodge try to resolve.

Not a boring taillight situation. Wonder how it might look w/natural resolve to the wheel openings.

"Details". Guess they missed the concept of cohesiveness.

When too much still isn't enough.

....as a diehard Audi fanboi, trying my damndest to love the new Audi 'look'; having a very difficult time at the moment.....

I think Audi has finally run out its series sleek cohesive lines, and is now trying to catch up to the Japanese with their gaping mouth-breather looks.

BTW; in one of the side shots, this thing looks to be as tall as my F350! Put it beside my R8 and the R8 is nearly invisible....

Another BTW: the grille is easily mistaken for a Jeep look; can't believe that will go un noted by FCA, I think they sued someone for copyright a few years ago....

    I hope you're sitting down...........

I have a personal theory that is not scientific, but a careful study of the 2 brands and their respective design vocabularies going forward:
as Audi move off their traditional, decades old design formula to a newer, 'edgier' look, it leaves a giant hole in the LUX Market.
Cadillac's Prez, J de Nysschen, is the former Audi Supremo. He's taking Cadillac into Audi territory slowly but surely.
How the Chinese respond to the 'new' Audi language is anyone's guess, bur Cadillac is waiting to move into the space Audi is vacating.
We'll see how this plays out, but i'm putting my money on the table with this outcome in mind.
    Stay tuned.
