Lol, I did a matte black design back in ‘94 for a project. I was on a stealth fighter kick and it was the focus of my theme board.
Totally agree and I think it just looks nicer in general. I feel the same about architectural rendering. I love the "old" style of people actually painting renderings of buildings. Even computer renderings that have a "paint" style applied just don't have the same look, because they're essentially applying a filter to a 3D render as opposed to actually painting an image.
Felt has a reason and a place in the world of artsy things, just not on cars. Image Unavailable, Please Login
They always look like primer to me. Because I'm old and remember spray-can primer. Image Unavailable, Please Login

There are occasions where I'm at a loss for words. I'm trying to comprehend the 20M figure. I guess if you're going to 'go for it' , don't be shy.
Looks very late 1950's- 1960's Pininfarina. I see some Duetto and 3000CM in that tail along with a few other. Interesting.
There's a WSJ article about this Rolls, and others....Rolls use the words 'haute couture'. If I remember, Lamborghini recently used the same words to describe their future. I wasn't paying close attention, but I thought when reading that it made sense to offer personalization like a custom suit when the electrified powerplant is/will be undifferentiated. Is that where high end cars are headed?
Yes, when all cars become 'electrified', design/personalization will be the differentiator. However, your 'tastes' may vary.

Even in the sketches, the roof looks like a hideous afterthought. Otherwise, that rear end with double truck lids is kinda interesting. All the best, Andrew.
I've always thought that the concept of the 911 "Spyder" was a bit silly given that the cars weigh a ton and will NEVER be stored outside; but sticking this light weight top on a three (?) ton R-R is the maximum of hilarious (silliest?, absurdist?, bizarrest?) Perhaps a "shooting break" version of the big Roller (with appropriate Bengal upholstery) called the Maharaja is in the works??
