I dig it, but nothing original there. You dont remember the 80s trend? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Honestly, no... I was born in the 1980s, so perhaps a lot of those wings had been removed by the time we got to the 1990s and I started discovering a passion for cars. All the best, Andrew.

As I've been saying, Hyundai/Kia have it going on design wise. This looks very industrial design/product design. I like it. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

I think Chris was, in an inspired bit of lateral thinking, the first to us a wing on a front drive car and he smoked everyone.
This is an update to the old children's game Button, button, who's got the button. Find the Goddess(es) on the new Caddy. Hint: it's not on the hood. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login https://www.motor1.com/news/616736/cadillac-celestiq-production-car-debut/
Took me a bit, but finally found it. I'm really struggling to like much about the Celestiq. The exterior makes me think of a family car rather than ultra luxury, while the interior looks cold, hard, and unwelcoming. The dashboard is horrible, with straight flat surfaces and tablets stuck to it. The whole thing comes across to me as trying far too hard to be futuristic with LEDs to compensate for the minimalist effort on the interior surface shapes that just look cheap. The rear seats basically have open trunk space behind them. Even the presentation video sucked, the design director sounded like she was delivering a book report. Nothing about the Celestiq or the way it is presented says to me that the driver or passengers are going to feel cocooned by luxury when they're in it. "Apart from that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?" All the best, Andrew.
Looks like a cross between the Bertone Ramarro Corvette concept and the Aston Martin Vulcan concept. The internet is ruining originality!!
Reminds me a little bit of the oriental origami paper folding technique. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Asian influences? Maybe now, but Modulo, Stratos Zero, Carabo, Manta, Deze Alfa, Countach, Marzal, Pirana, Athon...LOL!
Merry Christmas everyone. Those Russians certainly know how to put a car together. Hey, comrade, let’s use flat glass everywhere. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Agreed. Everything about this car is the exact opposite of what I like about the cars I, well, like; it reminds me of some sort of over-styled, futuristic Roadmaster station wagon. On top of that, it certainly does appear very cold, very clinical; a perhaps interesting but not very inviting place to be. Then again, I am not the "target audience" for this vehicle, lol. I'm starting to realize I am not the "target audience" for most new vehicles being produced anywhere, today.
This may be one of the only benefits of getting old. You can ignore the consumer hype because they don't want you.
I'm not even 40 yet... what am I going to be like when I'm as old as you guys? With concern for people on my lawn, Andrew.
