When I worked at Boeing we also used clay for the interior design. A lot of ex-Auto sculptors moved to Seattle to help make clay models of interior panels. There is something about that smell you can never forget.

The point being 'aero' via reduced frontal area. The car from OSI was supposedly inspired by a twin boom record car designed & driven by Piero Taruffi in the early 50's, and was thus nicknamed 'the Silver Fox'
