Interesting. Doesn't look very usable but I like the idea that someone tried to make a modern XJS. All the best, Andrew.
Some of these were posted in the F8/812 thread, but I thought I'd post the design sketches here. These are ONLY speculation, so treat accordingly . Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Looks to me like the fender treatment shape over the rear wheels is different on each side. (Left concave; right convex)
Continuing on the speculation for the F12/812 replacement, Autocar Magazine commissioned this. Image Unavailable, Please Login

That roof is pretty cool. I still prefer body colored roofs and pillars, but the strong C pillars and colored section across the top behind the glass roof is pretty cool. All the best, Andrew.
Looks a bit bent at mid-point in low front 3/4 - Daytona-esque nose leading edge is too high. Ferrari design can and has done much better than this ---
Kinda close to the first sketch, albeit a bit less curvy and Cheetah-like in the quarters than the Autocar take? Dig it, and even more so if scaled-back in dimensions v prior recent 12's.
I've been following all the running commentary in the F12/812 threads and am amazed at the amount of distain for the design. Yes, I guess everyone is indeed a designer. Certainly everyone is entitled to their opinions, but some of the commentary borders on the rude. But after 50 yrs in the 'biz' I'm used to it by now. Don't like it, don't buy one. Simple as that. I think the Ferrari is not bad other than the rear end treatment. I wish for round taillights again!!! Roma combined with the original Daytona, with some of that white Bertone Alfa showcar(the last one) from a few year ago mixed in. I like the Roma and Daytona, but that blacked out area ruins the flow. I hope they option painted rear panels.

nel This is SO much better as a drop top & in a darker colour that minimizes the black. I wonder if the U.S. version will have the brush aluminium nose.
I'm always troubled when someone says they want to see a car "in the flesh" Seriously? Whereas.......tin=metal
Headlights are Lamborghini Estoque like... what I dont like about the design is the hard lines that transition into a bubble rear fender. Image Unavailable, Please Login
My take away is those who love the F12/812 dislike it, and vice versa. Ive always disliked the overly busy high school sketchpad look of both F12 and 812 so i prefer the 12Cs more sensuous line (except for some modern details)
