Only slightly off-thread; just did a 2000 mile highway trip WA to CA and return; must have seen more than 10 C8’s, by far the most common sportscar over the week. The yellow ones were visible a mile away in traffic.
Zero 911’s, zero Ferrari’s/Maserati’s/Mclaren’s, etc. Two matching slate-gray/black Lambo’s with roof boxes.
    Oh, and 14 Cybertrucks…..

One of my best pals was the Chief Designer of the C6, C7 and the C8.
    I'm not a fan of the C8, but I'm happy it's such a success.

So happy to see the latest edition posted.

Full size tape drawings were fun. It is interesting how GM had the designers really work their tape for rendering. Chrysler at that time were far simpler with tape and just some color for the main side surface area. The ones at Chrysler that were adept at the airbush had come from GM.

1933 Chrysler Custom Imperial LeBaron Dual-Windshield Phaeton

Few automobiles are as inextricably tied to their creators as chassis number 7803657 is to influential LeBaron designer Ralph Roberts.

Of the mere 151 CL Imperials built in 1933, this extraordinary motorcar—Roberts’ personal commission intended as a gift for his wife and believed to be the final Dual-Windshield Phaeton produced—represents the most significant example of this rare and desirable series.

Love the little monograms you find on those cars.. Really interested to see what will replace these 100 cars, the selection of these was fantastic.

is Academy of Art a good school? I saw someone mention the class size is small (24 students) and they aggressively pitch students against eachother... then again that doesn't sound far off what you gents have experienced in the pro studios.

looking at those wheels, Bugatti was clearly the intention, but the body looks quite small and the American Bantam had elevation much like this -
