In preparing one of his cars for a Federal rally my brother inlaw over 2 years with his man put in over 2,000 hours.

You already know the answer to this. Peter McKinnon and all you do is tell him what you want and he'll do it. (he did the inner guards on the LM because of stone chips and I couldn't fault it)(AND he did in it my garage on site as well). Think BOXER.....remember that. That paint is still fantastic on that car.

Hey why not do it yourself? If your able to wipe your arse you should be able to detail your car. The secret is using the correct compounds starting with medium compounds and working down to super fine. Next give it a coat of glaze of and finally a good quality wax. You can buy a reasonable quality variable speed polisher out of superjew for around 100 bucks. Allow about 100 hours for a top job. I'm happy to give you some instruction if you are interested.

And Steve while wiping my ass is a have to job this guy is pro he applies the wax with his bare hand as he needs heat and besides I am too busy paying for the car haha... But hey if your offering to do it for free

Nothing in life is free!!! But we could come to some arrangement ! Re applying wax with his bare hands does he smoke a lot of herbs.

Went for a short drive today with roof off for the first time in many months.
Beautiful weather and great fun. Amazing how much more noise you hear with the roof off.

For the first and ONLY time in my life I have paid a detailer to detail the Ferrari for me before tomorrows Fathers Day 'show and shine'.

Apparently he is doing an excellent job, can't wait to see the old girl.

I vacuum and wipe over the interior once a year before this show and wash the car once every few months. I am a slacker.

He is also going to clay bar the car, detail/clean inside and out. And let me tell you.............he definitely has his work cut out for him.
