    I've never done a SL C&C, the last time I went to one was at the BMW dealership in Plano. I'm curious how the SL will work at Tx Gun? Looks like they're selling 150 parking spaces and that's going to pretty much pack in the lot at Tx Gun. Looking at Google Maps, there's not much space for overflow parking. If the SL C&C packs them in anywhere near what the Plano C&C did, there's going to be a massive shortage of parking.

    That is not the normal location. The Texas Gun Experience show is a special weekend event. The regular Southlake C&C is at the office complex on the corner of 114 and Kirkwood. Maybe 300 to 400 cars for that. That show is the next weekend, the 26th and a pretty good Exotic/Supercar showing there.

    Ever shoot a belt fed full auto M249 SAW ? I did ! They have them for rent in the main building. Giggity giggity !

    So what have you done??

    I was in FW today, lunch at Joe T. Garcia’s. What a madhouse that place always is. 90 minute wait for outside (big surprise given the weather) and 45 minute for inside. I just don’t get it and never have, the food is good but it’s not that good….

    I met a friend once I got into town (got in late due to plane issues @MDW) and we went to Texas Gun Experience for the C&C on Saturday. It was ok. Saw a F8 there and a sweet Lambo Huracan, otherwise there were a bunch of 4cyl imports drag racing and revving their engines. Ate dinner Saturday night at Lonesome Dove per your suggestion. ABSOLUTELY one of my top 3-5 meals of all time!!!!!! (Smoked Old Fashioned, Elk Sausage Sliders, Boar Ribs, House Salad, Pork Chop washed down with Austin Hope Cabernet).
    Today went to Lonestar Kart Park for some g0-karting. What a blast! Then my buddy took me to Babe's Chicken for dinner. Back at the hotel enjoying a nice Old Fashioned catching up on FChat! Tomorrow Rockwall for meetings in the afternoon and all day Tuesday, then back to Indiana.

    Thanks for the suggestions and specifically to @jimpo1, @Mr. Uy and @LightGuy for trying so hard to connect. I'll make sure that when I come back in July I plan even more time!!! (I got in too late Saturday AM to connect with anyone.)

    So glad you enjoyed it! The Elk Sausage Sliders are my favorite, I’ve been known to make them my entire meal. Now I’m getting hungry. I may need to make a trip across town for lunch….

    Man you almost completed my entire wedding - we had our rehearsal dinner at Lonesome Dove!

    They have a cool downstairs wine room with a patio out back, and a nice fireplace for s’mores.

    My new favorite place in the stockyards is Atico - nice rooftop type bar that serves Spanish tapas.

    Let us know when you make it back this summer!
