    In looking for a non-Ferrari-exclusive drivers ed. track event to go to this summer with my 18 year old son, I found a 3 day event on the calendar at VIR in August that's being run by an organization called "Car Guys" (see website at www.carguysinc.com). The format is described as being the same as BMW and Porsche Club D.E. events -- multiple run groups based on skill, classroom training, instructors in cars with novices, etc.

    Has anyone done a track event run by "Car Guys" before? I'd appreciate comments on how well the events are run, quality of instructors, etc.

    i did an event with them @ sebring. they run a pretty tight ship. they seemed to be pretty good at keeping a lid on the rookies and giving the experienced guys plenty of room to just do their thing. i little expensive but would otherwise recomend.
