    Looking at 2001 456 M GT, paperwork shows it was done late(by Auto Gallery in Cali I believe) but had new clutch,radiator,dash,belt service, rebuilt alternator etc to the tune of $16K...any thoughts....like did it even have an oil chnage in all that time, Makes me think it was neglected and/or the owner did not have the funds for some time to do the scheduled work...dogdoc

    Are you saying it had no service from 0 to 41k or just that there's no evidence ? What is current mileage ? If its done a load of miles since the 41k and been serviced that is quite different

    I'd guess that the 30K was done based on time not mileage, look for a service around 2006. The service at 41K is possibly the second major. If this is not the case, I would walk away.

    Hard to say? The guy might have dragged the service until he was starting to decide to sell it. It's good that that work has been done. Still I'd get a PPI. I'm sure that oil changes etc. were done. Any records? This dealer likes to over kill on the work so that would work in your favor if you decide to buy.

    I was told that this dealer also does alot of overkill, not just the dealer that did the work but Star European that has the car according to a broker friend of mine; he has bought several cars from them and says they go overboard as well, thnx to all , will look for a 30K service, dogdoc

    Nice to have contacts; Brad Goldstone of Sanfran sports cars linked this ad to a 2006 POST on Ferrari life.........car was looked at by someone else as he was looking to buy; too many questions that the dealer could not answer and goes on to say that the hood had a "ripple" line in it", headlights had dimples"( what is that) and was not pleased with the car so I can now walk on, thnx, dogdoc
