car is immobilised!!!! help!

bought a 2002 575 about 6 weeks ago. absolutely love the car.....went to my garage just now (friday evening) to take it out for a spin.....and the car is not responding to the "wireless control"!

brushing it off as a battery issue, i opened the car with key to find the car is completely immobilised.......and now, i cant even close the door properly (i'm assuming because the windows are not coming down).

the spare wireless control does not work properly. checked the manual which provides the following instruction:

"Press the wireless control push button controlling the LED. If it flashes quickly while the push button is pressed, the wireless control is OK. otherwise check and replace batteries"

so i press the button, the LED turns on immediately, and stays on (does not flash, stays on). I assume this is what the manual means.

"If the wirelesss contol is ok and the system doesnt reply yet, make the resynch procedure, press the button for three consecutive times within 10 seconds"

i assume this simply means press the button 3 times within 10secs....which i've done...and nothing.

Ofcourse it being friday evening, no garages are open, and i dont know what or where i'm going to be able to get it done tomorrow...

Has anyone had this issue before? Why would/could this occur so randomly?
I've kept the car under an indoor car cover for the first time for the past few days...there's no way that could affect anything surely?

any helpful comments/feedback would be tremendously appreciated

forgot to mention that
have the red master, 1 black slave, no code....i could hopefully get the code from the dealer (not ferrari approved) tomorrow.

 

problem solved..............................it was just a flat battery! feel like a new parent who overreacts at the first sign of anything wrong with the baby
