does the single post not have to be dug into the ground for support?

The single post not only needs to go into the foundation, but it also needs a higher grade cement to ensure that you don't have structural issues.

A four post is the way to go if you have the space. That is unless you're building a new garage from the ground up.

I have a BackYard Buddy 4-post lift in my garage. We use it mainly for storage, and occasional mechanical tweaks/fixes, and it has been nothing short of spectacular.

IF you buy it from a local vendor/distributor, they will usually offer to install it for $500...

yeah he doesn't mess around when it comes to his cars. Every single one of the cars pictured has a custom sound system.

outside of the garage is parked the 745, 325, navigator, X5, and F150

some of the past rides are the Alpina Z8, CL55, S55, S430

next on the list are the m5 and 430 :)

and the main thing is that he's down to earth and a really good friend.

I too am considering a 4 post lift for my garage. A friend has teh Backyard Buddy & has found it to be great. Does anyone have any experience with the Revolution from Rotary? Any other brands to seriously consider or avoid? The reason I ask is that I'm truly confused by a number of the lifts in that they all seem to be the same. What are the key points differentiating them? Thanks for the comments & suggestions.

Sorry for the delay. Ok, here's what he did. He called Rotary Lift @ (800) 640-5438. You can ask to speak to Kris Bliss, she's very helpful and will provide pricing, installation costs as well as the installer. By going this route Rotary will warranty the install.

good luck with everything, let me know how everything goes.

Is this number and contact info still good you think? Just checking over the Rotary website and it seems like a good quality lift. Could use an installer as well.
