Poor Jethro!! He's definitely one of my favorites, doesn't sound too bad, just two rims. It happens I guess!
He actually said Ferrari was cool about it on his Twitter page apparently. It thankfully wasn't a write off Here's his review http://www.carmagazine.co.uk/Drives/Search-Results/First-drives/Ferrari-FF-2011-CAR-review/
I missed it I guess I wonder if they were the optional rims like on the Autocar review or the twin-five spokes.
His reaction is great. I feel sorry for the poor guy but I couldnt stop laughing at all of the *beeps*
His response indicated he was peeing in his pants with fear, why was that? Would he have to cut off his pinky finger to atone for what he did? LoooL
That is funny! Driving a 612 is one of the hardest cars I have driven to navigate ... it was a 6 month no bleeps required learning curve It's long nose reminds me of my 9 ft chopper. Man it sounded good - tll he curbed her. Achem ... it has a 377,977 Sticker
This is quite common when you get a Brit in an LHD car or Yank or European in an RHD car. Living in the UK for 6 years while flying F-111Fs at RAF Lakenheath, you could see it every day with newcomers. The two clues to newcomers were bouncing off curbs and turning on the windshield wipers instead of the turn signals (not a problem in RHD Ferraris, IIRC, same switches). You get used to it if you do it all the time, and my wife and I had LHD and RHD cars at the same time with no problems, but for the casual driver, can be a problem. So it bit him. Officially no, and no one really knows anyway, there are a few threads about it in the Ferrari Discussion section
"how the f*blip*ck did that happen?" I am just gonna go a bit quicker... on a narrow twisty road like this... and there is more than a glance into the camera when he should be concentrating on the road (or, rather, the curbs...)
