I recently had a wrap removed from 2010 Cali. I don't know how long it was on the car, but it was at least 5 years and, based on the history I have, the car spent some time in AZ and TX so it probably baked on there pretty good. Unfortunately, the clear coat came off in some areas as well as paint and clear coat in others. I'm now looking at a full car repaint and am curious if others have had their cars done and what the cost was. The goal is to have it done in the same color as it is now so as soon as I save enough pennies...

    Anyone feedback would be appreciated.

    TIA

$30k...or there abouts. The painting itself is the easiest aspect....the hardest is taking the car apart.

You get what you pay for. For it to be done properly it can be $30k or more.

Unfortunately, a lot of sanding would be required to blend where the clear coat came up. Also, where the paint came up, there’s an obvious difference between the existing paint and what was underneath so it wouldn’t look good at all.

That was an option discussed early on but I think I'm just going to save and repaint...
