    I just wanted to put up an invitation to everyone here that there will be a car show in Baton Rouge on LSU's campus and we would like all kinds of cars to be there. It will actually be a fundraiser for the LSU Society of Automotive Engineers chapter. They will be displaying their 2006 Formula SAE car as well as probably thier mini Baja Car. Last year Dan Heard brought his Enzo and we had quite a few other cars. This year we hope it will be better than ever. Here is the info.

    2006 Car Show
    Saturday, 25 March 2006
    10AM - 4PM
    Parking Lot 109 (Across Nicholson Ext. from CEBA

    I will post directions to CEBA if there seems to be a lot of interest. Also If you think you will be able to attend please make a post and include what kind of car you will be bringing. Also even if you don't have a car to show, just come out to check out the other cars. I believe admission is free for spectators but I will post those kind of details later.

    I would like there to be a few more Ferrari's there than years past so please make plans to attend.

    I don't know if they have contacted Mr. Heard yet to find out if it will be back but I think he is a big supporter of LSUFSAE so I would expect it to be back.

    I believe there is a Yugoslavian gentleman who used to live in New Orleans with a yellow Gallardo now living in the BR area. I believe he went to the last French Quarter Classic so I'm pretty sure he has ties to F-Chat in some manner or another. You may want to see if people like Dave and John want to make an adventure out of it and have some fun coming up the interstate or airline highway to BR.

    I guess I'll have to make the 3/4 mile treck from my apartment that day :)

    G-car owner doesn't post here. I'll give him a call about this if you like. I'm sure he would come, he is fairly enthusiastic about this sort of stuff. He also has a stunning collection of...Yugos! :)

    For those coming up that day the MArdi Gras PCA is having a D.E. at the EVO center in Zachary. Dan somtimes shows up there with one of his toys. The D.E. is Sat. and Sun.

    I have been seeing that yellow G around here recently...and the very next day I saw a silver murci. Man what a beautiful car. If I have my car done by then I will bring the 73 911 out for the show...

    If any of you guys plan on going I would love to caravan up with ya, that is if you don't mind a old Mustang fastback in the pack! I'm traveling abroad until 3/20 but if any of you guys are going to drive your rides up drop me a pm and I would be honored to ride up there with ya. Besides I have no clue where anything is in BR and need a guide.

    Anybody is welcome to attend. We would love to have some bikes out there. It will be free for spectators and $10 to enter. I am not sure how the categories will be broken down but it should be fun. Here is the flier they are sending out.

    We were coming over April 1 for the Art Car Parade, we ould make this and leave the car with someone. Anybody want to Ferrarisit the Art Car?

    I've got room in my garage. The jeep can stay outside for a week.

    Try the Marriot Residence Inn on Siegen Road in Baton Rouge. There is a Courtyard in the same area also. I've had pretty good luck finding rooms there lately without paying to much.

    Take Hwy 30 exit off I-10.
    Keep going until you see the Tiger stadium- take a right before the stadium.

    Oh he won't notice. . . . I got a friend who can't drive a clutch so I figured he could drive the e-gear. . . ;) ;)
