    Sat, Nov 13, The town of Flowery Branch, home of the Falcons, is having a Car Show starting at 9AM. Location is around the old train depot. I heard that it is big, perhaps 150 cars. Exit I-985 at Sprout Springs, go west to RR tracks, cross RR and turn right. Look ahead and there it is.

    Question........Is the FB exit just (1) above Friendship Rd? (also, is this an open even, entry fee....etc of any kind)...... And hey, Saturday should be a great day, sunny and cool)

    Well, I'll be spending the first part of the day at the big model car show in Smyrna. Maybe I'll make it there after lunch. (And then there's Giovanni's in Suwanee at 4 PM. And I thought car show season was over!)

    Are you sure of the date? I did several Google searches and can find no mention of any special events going on in Flowery Branch this weekend!

    Ah, "chili" was the magic word. Here's the text of the announcement:

    Sat, Nov 13, 1st Annual Flowery Branch Classic Car Show and Chili Cook Off, 9 am - 5 pm. Registration for both events begins at 9 am and judging is at 4 pm. Over 40 trophies for the car show and additional trophies for the chili. Music, food, and fun for the whole family. $20 registration for either event. For more info, contact Johnny Smith at 770-967-2604 for the car show or Steve Soucie at 770-967-2934 for the chili cook-off. Proceeds benefit the Flowery Branch Better Hometown Project.
