They are making progress on my repair/respray. No real rust issues, the panels are in pretty good shape. Here are some pics of the car: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I see dollar bills. When I restored my 77 March Formula Atlantic, all I felt were dollar bills flying out my check book.
Yes it is at Allen's and they used air tools to strip it, not chemicals. Very hard to see the damage once the paint was removed. Updated pic is of car in primer with guide coat. They are sanding it and then will re-prime and water sand to prepare for painting. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Are they going to have to take out the glass before painting it? I'm having mine repainted as well though I did not go to the metal on mine as there was no need. But they did pull all panels and glass...
Chris- saw your car with it's new paint & interior at Jim's place. Looks great! I imagine you are a happy camper. Paul
Thanks gang, it is looking pretty good but I have not had a chance to really enjoy yet as it goes from shop to shop!!! Still some detail work to do and then I am ready to go driving. Yes, they did take out the glass and the front windshield broke to no suprise.
