So 2 days of definitely crap roads and 4 days of probably crap roads. Tempting! I'd do it in a Porsche or Nissan, but not my 308. I love it too much to destroy it.
I'd rather **ck an insured Datto than an uninsured classic Ferrari.....again. I blame Horse for not contacting the relevant councils to do something about their roads. After all we're spending shiploads of cash in their areas to go for a drive.
Horse is properly sorted and in perfect condition and in original specification, so I didn't have any bottoming out worries in the 6 GG's I did in it.. Unlike others.
No matter what Marc did to the 308 it's last trip, the short one this year, was better but not good. I remember KK saying that he only hit a couple of times on the GG,I was...I can't remember,at the same speed. As for the 365,well we won't mention the Victorian trip!
Unfortunately, Marc is only as good as the budget you give him to work with. 'nuff said! We know you like burning everything except money!
I like the GIANT fly swatter on the front! I wonder how may times he pulled out passing someone and as he got level with them at 140+ thought...... "Oh **** the trailer!"
If you're saying your car never bottoms on the crappy GG roads you've taken us on I'm calling you a big fat smelly liar in public!
I made a similar 'flyswatter' for my P1800 when I went to a nationals in Armidale NSW back in about '88
Two or three times last year, one year not at all and a couple of years maybe once. Over 2,000 kms each trip on some of the best backroads in Australia. Or I could drive it up and down the freeway. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
