    At this time of year it can be an hour just to get past the few miles between east Hampton and Southampton! Not the most pleasant drive

    in the past Bradan was willing to transport car for me from MA to NY. It was open single car trailer

    Why not just drive it south and take the Orient Point ferry? I am in EH and have taken that ferry many times.

    I just did the drive from Burlington, MA to LI (not in the Ferrari) two weeks ago. Don't risk the ferry, they pack the cars in and newer Ferrari's tend to be a bit wider than most SUVs.

    Fly up and buy the car, stay in a hotel overnight and leave around 5:00am on a Saturday or Sunday. You will not slow down at all on your drive. I used Waze for navigation/traffic and really enjoyed the drive.

    Based on when I lived in LI, most traffic doesn't start till 10:30/11:00am so being early is important.
