From many CS owners I've heard there is a significant warm up time before the car "wakes up." Do you find this true for 430s and Scuds? What do you anticipate for Italia?

Any car will reach it's optimum performance once the engine/oil temperature reaches the normal operating level.

I always wait 10@15 minutes for a good warm up specially if I had the master switch off.

Ferrari advise keeping the motor below 4000rpm until normal operating temperature is reached. Unless it's particularly hot it equates to approximately 10 miles in the UK, although I don't tend to exceed 2/2500rpm rather than 4k, which may effect the time/distance to fully warm up. Pretty much the worst thing you can do, in my opinion, is stress a cold engine, once warm just keep it out of the red zone...

This is correct and good advise. Also as already stated, keep the rpms below 4k until warm.
