What should it cost to wrap a Ferrari California T?

    Is it worth the cost?

How does it wash and shine?

Esoteric's car care site gives you the premier (imho) options. They have a thread in here somewhere. It goes beyond what I call the shrink wrap. The full meal deal is paint correction detail first (why wrap crap?) then the protection after the wrap to make washing easier. Don't forget to do the wheels and windshield. Once you start down this path it just keeps going. Not something I would ever consider for my point and squirt Audi, but definitely something worthy of my Cali. Now to answer your question...$5-6k+

This is one of those things where you want to find someone who has wrapped a lot of exotic cars and be able to examine their work closely before you commit. Some painstakingly wrap the edges on every panel while others use the pre cut kit and you see seams everywhere.

People like the XPel material. It is supposed to self heal with light scratching from sunlight or a heat gun. People will apply the sealants like CQuartz right over the plastic. At that point, pretty much anything on the wrap will just rinse right off with no effort.

But at some places, be prepared to pay the Ferrari tax. Get them to quote on a Porsche 911 and then watch the price rise when you tell them it's for a Ferrari.

I talked to several people and I'm getting the car fully wrapped with Xpel. Thanks for the feedback.

Hi, I'm from Tokyo. I have my Cali T fully wrapped up. It protect my car from small scratch few times which it didn't ruin my car paint. Replace the film is much more cheaper than repaint. Worth a lot I think.
