    This happened a few miles from where I live. Some great work getting that plane on the ground. Juan does a great job of explaining what happened:

    "Across the street from Wendy's" is my favorite part of the ATC communication.

    Know that stretch of road well from many FCA-MAR rallies and visits to D&V’s Masters location around the corner. Amazing that the plane came down pretty intact.

    My experience with Cessna single-engine airplanes, 150/152/172/180/180 amphib/206 amphib, is that they fly the same. They get heavier but generally have very similar characteristics. So yeah, the caravan is a big 172.

    :)Well, it is a 208, so only two digits higher than a 206, so it must fly pretty much the same

    With max take-off weights of 2550 lbs vs 8000 lbs, I can see how you would call them the same.
