Carb 308 Air Cleaner Knurled nuts - cheap

My mechanic misplaced several of my little "bolts" or knurled head nuts (which is what I also call my youngest brother) so I went online and searched and found them at several sources...all at about $10 - $24 each depending on the source with shipping adding some interesting cost to the transaction. I also own a 1989 BMW 635CSi. I was looking at the knurled nut on the power steering reservoir and noticed that it had a similar nut. I pulled one of the stock nuts off the Ferrari and tested it on the BMW and it fit! (See attached pics, the nut on the BMW is upside down from the Ferrari application) The nut for the BMW is just slightly larger but much cheaper at $4-$5. Just paint them satin black and no one will know the difference unless they get out the micrometer. If you want them without shipping just go to a BMW dealer and order them.
