Ok- on My 71 euro gt (#1832) I am going to start to rebuild the carbs. In the Wallace book they list weber 40 dcn/f #7,#13,#!9,#20 and about the only difference I see is that the starter jet f7/80 on the dcnf #7 is f7/80...all other models are f6/60. I ordered a carb repair kit from Superformance but for some reason they only sent the repair for 1 carb (not sure how that happened). I was going to buy the other kits from the weber guy in the US (www.carburetion.com) as they have the 40 dcnf...but they only show the dcnf #12. To make things even more confusing in the factory repair manual from car # 02132 refers to a dcnf #13. So I am curious if any of this makes a difference & what to order? Thanks

I just rebuilt mine - I cleaned them out with Frost Aluminium casting cleaner first - the difference is unbelievable

I have tried ultra sonics, detetgents, compressed air etc. all to no avail. This stuff workred in seconds.
strip them totally, partially fill the fuel reservoir and pour and inject this stuff into every other hole. flush and dry with compresed air - and get them back in use as soon as possible - they seem to corode back up in days!
