So a Ferrari Dealer told me that the carbon ceramic brakes never need changing unless the car is tracked on a regular basis. He said that at annual meetings, Ferrari of North Amreica has reemphasized this.

I know replacing these would be very pricey if it needed to be done.

    Thoughts???

The dealer is right. They are fantastic brakes, but the race guys don't like 'em because they are very expenseive to replace, which they have to do after finding Jesus a time or two. :)

Edit: You should have no problem will street use, however.

My 612 HGT2 has over 31,000 miles. According to the dealer my CCM rotors have 1% wear and the pads have 70% wear.

It looks like I'll need some pads soon, but that is pretty "cheap"!

That's good to know. 31K and still on the same pads with intact rotors.
