430 Carbon Console w/Bose button

Freddan recently twisted my arm and forced me to purchase some nice carbon fiber parts from him. I tried to resist, but here I am. Anyhow, I want to update my console as well to carbon but am having an incredibly hard time finding a vendor that sells the console with the Bose button option, not a cigarette lighter.

Here's the thing, I'm very particular and am only looking for the console that is an insert like this which includes the front and rear area. I don't care for the full consoles or the full top half of the console. Simply the insert. Has anybody else gone down this route? Is the Bose option just not popular enough for the aftermarket CF guys to bother with? Anybody else interested if I get one of these companies to make one if this doesn't exist elsewhere?

 

100%. The bose button doesn't have a recess like the cigarette lighter does. The top surface should look like the hazard and parking buttons. Here's a reference so you can see how the cigarette lighter hole is recessed and larger:

It's only for the Spider. Not sure if you were looking at the Coupe or not.

 

Going through the parts catalog now, I don't see anything specific for Bose, but I know it has to be there somewhere. The first pic was from a stock vehicle. Best I can guess is that it's 69174400 but I see no pictures anywhere.

 

Thanks Corey. I think that's for the full upper console as it's 3 times the regular carbon price. Either that or it's just a weird one off price.


As an update, the company I linked mentioned they could make a console with a custom cutout to whatever size I want, but it likely wouldn't have any attachment points I guess. Going to see if I can remove the trim piece and take some pictures from the underside.

 

yes. I have the leather base with the aluminum insert up top. Looks just like the first pic except aluminum.
