Anyone have problems with carbon engine bay panels 'yellowing' over time?
Can't speak for the engine panels on a 360 but it seems that CF does yellow after a while in high heat locations. RennTech made a CF airbox for a 500E Mercedes a while ago. Within several years they all yellowed. Or maybe because of age, not enough long term data to come to a respectable conclusion. Might be the nature of the binding material, not sure. But there have been several cases that I personally know of where yellowing has occurred. Kind Regards, Ron
