    Naah - go with Valence. We actually make a full carbon fiber replacement piece for the boot. Weave is the same as the factory uses.

    We've laminated a few and they come out looking very, very sharp. The finish is better than the Ferrari carbon. But I don't have one done and in stock at this moment.

    We've been planning to mold the part to do a full carbon version (its a pretty simple piece) but demand for other parts and other projects have kept it on the back burner. If Valence has one of theirs on the shelf ready to go, I'd give them a call.

    Thanks to both of you guys! I told my friend about both options and he decided to go with the one from Valence. He'll keep the aluminum one as a Ferrari trinket.
