    I realized there are a lot of DIYs on the forum. I posted a Carbon fiber tutorial on our web site to help others understand the process. It doesn't cover advanced techniques which we use to make racing parts but others have found it helpful. www.synapsemotorsport.com

    wow...great post. Where do i pick up sheets of those carbon fiber threads/rolls?
    and not to meantion the resin and hardener...

    50/50 mix of clear surfboard gelcoat and duratec UV clear = perfectection. Minimal polish work, gives the deep "3D" look of the weave and will last damn near forever.

    Lay down a coat and let it tack (HVLP, little acetone will thin it out and flash off the surface easily), then do your carbon work. You'll thank me later :)
