Pretty sure the HRE R101LW wheels are lighter than the Ferrari CF wheel option. They look good as well.
Last I heard they were around 19 lbs for fronts. Getting below for a 9x20 with proper TÜV capacity is hard. Sent from my SM-G930F using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Weight alone does not a true track wheel make. Yes you could get a TÜV certified 18.5 lbs wheel with a load rating of 450-500 kg. That is what the Speciale runs. Great for the average drive on the road, but not really a real track wheel. By comparison, a 19.5 lbs. Forgeline GS1R wheel has a capacity of 935 kg. Now that is a proper performance wheel. A light wheel is pointless if a few curbs puts it out of round. The trick is not making a wheel light, but making it light and strong. Only alternative is magnesium alloys, but unfortunately that's rare. Only aware of Manthey whom currently offers it for street cars. Sent from my SM-G930F using FerrariChat.com mobile app
