I know the motorcycle carbon fiber wheels had problems and they spent quite a bit of time on them before they got them right, have you tested these? Any reports on how long we can expect them to last?

They have passed every D.O.T. test including
    (a) Radial Fatigue Standard test is 2.5 million cycles ours passed 5 million
    (b) Cornering Fatigue 1.2 million cycles
    (c) Radial impact testing this is the one that everyone worries about.. our wheel exceeded the imapct test by 60KG which has never been done before.
    (d) was a repeat of A, B, C with low profile tire... this test not required by JWL or BSAU
    (e) additional impact on unsupported inner flange without tire ( no wheel has ever passed this before our wheel)
    (f) CASS test enviormental chamber designed to add age to the wheel
    (g) repaet A, B, C on wheel post CASS test

after all testing the wheel was pressure tested to assure no micro cracks

This wheel compared to the Z06 wheel was twice as strong and held up better in impact testing then the Z06 wheels and we did it without the center spokes we also did all the same testing once again with only 1 support bolt in each spoke rather then the normal 2

These wheels will out last your car.....We have spent lots of time getting these wheels right....Our wheels have nothing in common with the motorcycle wheels. We have pushed some of our wheels beyond the limits of any wheel to failure and we have never seen a catastrophic failure. When the wheels have failed the failer was a progressive one and at no point would they shatter

These wheels are featured in April's edition of Popular Hot Rodding on pg.59
Wheels can be custom done to fit your vehicle and cutom designs can be done.

I think I like the original design better.
Also I don't really think it's right to use this forum as a free product testing site.

I think they look great. Good job!

If I were to buy a set though It'd have to be on a black car no doubt.

OMG I didn't know carbon wheels even existed. But those look incredible. Couple of questions though...

    1. Why are the spokes not in CF as well, or will you make it optional?

    2. How light are these wheels?.

    3. Would it be possible or, did you think about making the spokes changeable so the customers could change the center spokes and not the entire wheel if they would like a new design?.

Sorry for all thees questions but this is avery exciting product and a deffinitive future for all future sports cars.

    Forza!

The spokes would be interchangable however if you remove the center you void the warrenty of the wheel....but yes it can be done

Cabon spokes can be done but cost is more...the spokes and the hoop have differnt building processes

the weight 8lbs as of now however we can do hollow Titanium spokes which removes a couple more pounds

What does "mech. attachment" mean? Bolts? Rivets? Epoxy? Velcro?

Superb idea and great implementation. I'll have to use a set of these somewhere.

Why don't you recommend painting the CF rims? (or was that in another of the threads on the wheels?) - not that I would.

You would certainly need good security to stop these being stolen.
