I think carbon fiber is just a preference. Our current car has only a carbon steering wheel. With the new one, we opted for more carbon fiber, but not EVERYTHING.

I can't speak to whether it can be added or not later.

I'm in the same boat as you. My order should be processed in the next couple of weeks and I've provisionally put some CF on but not full kit. I've gone for driver zone and wheel, central tunnel and cup holder but have left kick plates and dashboard inserts as they are. I'm hoping that it works. It's easy to get carried away with the options list and in the end I thought the cost for dashboard inserts and kick plates was just a step too far for me. Some things such as the kick plates should be easy to change later. I suspect it will be more difficult and costly to try changing the dashboard components later. Ultimately it's down to your personal choice and budget. A car with CF may be more appealing to the resale market but I reckon it's unlikely you'd get back the extra cost, it may just make it easier to sell when the time comes. What colour have you gone for?

One can always use HydroCarbon to put fake cf anywhere , i have seen some Fcars with it and it does look good.

Have gone for Grigio Silverstone with red interior and calipers. Took the steering wheel but will look to wrap other parts later as it look the same to me as have done before.

    i personally love cf.
    the more the better.
my recently purchased (slightly used) '14 cali had only the drivers's zone (and steering wheel) in cf.
so i called john at maccarbon to provide me with aftermarket replacement of my central bridge, air vents and the radio bezel.
looks exactly like oem at less than 1/2 the price.

That's whats I plan now to do, just ordered the steering wheel as dealer adviced it would be harder to sell without carbon sterring wheel. Gone for upgraded hifi, 20" wheels, handling pack, black roof, yellow side badges, Apple, black stitching and logo on seats

IMO those CF parts do nothing to enhance the car and if anything spoil its lines. I'd like a CF rear diffuser which I think would look great.
