Hi everyone. I have a 1998 355 GTS F1 and am considering carbon fiber parts to enhance the looks of my car. Does this decrease the value of the car or will it hurt the score if it is entered in a show?

I've never entered in a car show or concourse but may do so in the future.

    Thanks for your opinions

Personally I wouldnt do it, at shows if I am correct its more about orginality and I think you would loose asthetically in a big way if you started adding carbon pieces onto a 355, which is already a stunning car. I suppose it would depend on what sort of add ons you had in mind..

However introducing carbon into the interior may be and idea to improve the car and add to the value... Cabon inlay on the center console for example may look nice but would be very easy to make...

    Just my opinion.....

Most concours shows with Ferrari's (the ones i have entered in) base the points on originality. The more after market items you have on it then chances are likely, the lower score you may get. Unless you enter it in a after market (type) of car show..
