Well, got the plastic bits covered in genuine carbon graphite with kevlar. The little yellow kevlar bits compliment the yellow exterior I think.... all in cost for coating centre console and internal door opening levers was around USD900...

Hi Mike, thanks for the compliments. It was done by Robson Design (Japanese origin company, but for which there is a branch in Singapore). Update required the removal of parts, delivery to these guys and then a turnaround of about a week. Absolutely superb quality. Would highly recommend it.

    Harold,

Thanks for the response.... could you send me an email address or phone number, or website? If you want to, you can PM it to me... I'm not sure what the rules are here for publicly posting vendors information, especially since some of the brotherhood are vendors. Also, if anyone knows of a US source for the same service, I would appreciate the info.

Dang! That looks fantastic! Can they do other colors? Are they limited to those pieces, or could I send just about any plastic item? The muffler heat shields (if they can withstand the heat) would look fantastic like that.

Mate, they can cover just about anything- see the metal door opening levers that I had coated as well. You basically supply then the items and they cover it.... guess you could do your underwear as well if you so desired.

This is the most basic form of composites work and I'm sure that any of the sponsors here could do it, as well as any of dozens of laminators here in the US. Of course, could and would are two different things.

^ Harold has a 348. It doesn't have the same bubbling problem of the 355.
