    Hmm, the CF knob in the pic looks different than the F50 one I have (sorry, not for sale!). It was my understanding that the OEM F50 ones didn't have any inserts or collars on the bottom.

    This is correct. I have both an F50 knob and the knob that the OP shows (it's in my 360) and they are indeed different.

    I am looking for one similar to the pic, which were widely available a few years back. Not looking to spend some outrageous amount for a small CF ball.

    anyway … I have an F50 carbon gear knob if you didn’t find one.

    as a guess the ones you were offered were expensive. This doesn’t surprise me due to the rarity.

    They go higher than $500, i would say at least $1500, new one if you can find is around $1200 but impossible to find.
