Hello all, I am looking to fit a 3.0 litre Ferrari V8 in the back of a Lancia Stratos replica & have a question that I hope someone here can answer quickly. I am based in the UK & the best source of a donor engine here is the Mondial, this however comes with the K jetronic FI system which is bulky & difficult to locate within the confines of a stratos replica chassis. Is there an easy way/conversion to change this back to a carburettor set up as per the GT4. Thank you in advance
I am presently converting the K-Jet in my Mondial to EFI. This setup in my opinion would be superior to going to carbs. Regards Jeff Image Unavailable, Please Login
+1 Strat, talk to Mike Jenvey there in the UK. He probably has a setup already for that engine. http://www.jenvey.co.uk/Index.htm A set of ITB's, modern injectors, fuel pump, and a contemporary ECU and you'll be set.
Thank you for the responses. The Mondial donor arrives today & I coincidentally have a meeting with someone related to Jenvey later this week! regards
There was an Fchatter that put carbs (along with a lot of other mods) on his Mondial 3.2. If you search for snj5's threads, you should find a lot of info.
