Hi guys, just a quick note to avoid you the same bad experience I just had with my webers. I sent them for a thorough restoration to Lanzoni in Verona (Italy).
He charged me a lot of money and he used second hand pieces and some pieces suitable for a fiat 500! The result has been terrible and the car ( maserati 4700)ran just awful.
    Beware!

Regarding parts and expertise for Webers - I have only very positive things to say about
    Pierce Manifolds, https://www.piercemanifolds.com/.

    A lot of "old" knowledge.

Sad to hear....maybe have them reworked at Pierce???

Your carbs have to be right.

Or, find an aftermaket for EFI??

I second Mike at Pierce. Very knowledgable and good to deal with. I put 44 DCNFs on my P6 cam-ed 308 about ten years ago and Mike patiently listened and helped me through the jetting process to optimize the performance. They will completely rebuild Webers.

I M in touch with a retired Maserati engineer who rebuilds carburettors. In case he can t handle I ll get in touch with Pierce. They have to be perfect!

A few years ago I had my carbs done by an old man in Turin (Torino). I visited the place myself. The place was cluttered with carbs, gaskets, manifold and tools all over the place.
He did a tremendous job. I brought them in, he sent them back.

He prefers money in the hand. ;)

I know a serious "old guy" in Biella. If you are interested in, send me your address in PM.
