Wasn't too certain where to put this post...

I am not much of an active member but have always received fabulous advice from this forum, and generally speaking the members of this forum are all on the same page... Ambitious and successful. I recently sold my share of my corporation in Dubai and am now once again living stateside. Retirement just is not my thing. In the UAE I have plenty of contacts for new ventures to vest myself into; however not so much in the US.

Does anyone here have any companies they would recommend for higher tier business recruiting? I am a C level executive with extensive international military and law enforcement experience. And truth be told although I am still very young I feel very much like an analog tool in a digital world with my skill set.

    The best,
    PMCCHRIS

Pardon my ignorance but what exactly is a "C-level executive"

It is a term used for the various top-tier executive positions in a large corporation, such as:
    - Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
    - Chief Operating Officer (COO)
    - Chief Counsel
    - Chief Information Officer (CIO)
    - Chief Human Capital Officer (CHCO)
    - Chief of Staff
    - President
    - Executive Vice President
    - etc.

Because so many of these position acronyms start with the letter "C", the term "C-level executive" was created.

I'm out in the boonies, so to speak, so can't offer much guidance. But would think your question is more regional and industry specific than 'stateside'. My suggestion would be to upgrade to Silver and repost in the Business/Silver section for the full FC braintrust response. Good luck with your re-integration into the business world.

There are a number of high end executive recruiters, some names that usually come up are: Korn Ferry, Heidrick & Struggles, Spencer Stuart.

I would probably go with recruiters specializing in your industry.
