    Can pitted Carello headlamps be easily restored? Mine have the typical road rash on them and I'd like to get them to like-new condition, but all web searches tried seem to return restoration of plastic, not glass, headlamps.

    Try a local glass shop....

    They'd know if they can be polished...there ARE polishes for glass, not the modern plastic problems.
