Don't put all your eggs in one basket. I've come to believe that carfax is only usefull when selling a car, not buying one. If I sell you a car I can show you the report. If I'm buying a car from you and you show me the report I'll tell you it doesn't mean the car hasn't been in a wreck, just that no one reported the wreck to carfax. And I don't know anyone who reports anything to them. Just my .02
I agree 100%. i use to check on number of owners, mileage issues and my eyes to look for overspray, drips, inconsistent orange peel.
