For the Ebay cars that are put up for auction with no buy it now, how do you guys guess the reserve price? Do you just bid, then the seller my have his friend bid a little higher (so you have to bid more to win).

Thanks Mike, if you can post them that would be great. But why would a seller use anything other than the most frequented (more views) 3 big sites (per Forbes Best of the Web; Cars.com Autotrader Ebay).

I totally agree....I have seen a few for sale in this color combo (now and again over the years) and they take a Looooong time to sell.....I agree even with a perfect past on this Ferrari you would really have to love the color to buy it.....given the history of this car...I would just run the other direction Fast!

Keep looking, there are MUCH better cars out there that you dont have to question. If you buy this one you will ALWAYS feel like it is second rate even if you dont have any problems with it...which I seriously doubt. This car would be a headache.

Checking 3 sites is fun, 20 is kind of like work. Why do Ferrari sellers choose to sell on sites with less views than Cars.com, Autotrader, Ebay...?

That wasn;t a high mileage car IMO but a 'roll back' at the point it was auctioned..

Note it became old enough to be 'exempt' at one point..

It was rolled back and then went forward to current display...

It's always better to find a long term owner, IMO than to deal with these poor cars that have so many 'fingerprints' on the dashboard....knowwhatImean????

Jeff, theseare just a few ,think how many more there might be, some of the sites are crapy, but some are very good I think, cars.com, they're ok I guess, and e-bay frightens me that someonematbe just wants to dump the car, I don't know anyone who has bought off e-bay do you?

If you don't have confidence in the car - don't buy it. There are plenty of other fantastic 3x8 cars out there that are in beautiful shape for reasonable money... why risk it?
