The story is about a 360 spider towed and sold. Black with aftermarket wheels.
Watched it..... Basically, some guy left his 2004 Ferrari 360 Spider at his ex-girlfriend's house before leaving town. She had the car towed. (Yeah, b*tch move, huh?!!) The towing company bulked up on about $2,500 in towing/storage charges, then put the car to auction/sale to 'cover' the charges. It's unknown if the auction really happened or if it was ever available to the public, but somehow the towing company 'wins' and takes title to the car. (so nice of the towing company to 'help' everyone out of such a bad situation by getting a six figure car for $2,500 in charges - most of which weren't even hard costs- nice jackpot, eh??!!) Guy gets back into town, and learns that his car was no longer his. He's now suing to get his car back. He claims that the towing company didn't follow procedures, and in essence took his car. Pretty f'ked up situation............
They specialize in towing exotics, but did you take a look at the " storage " area? Yikes! You know everyone that works there took it out for a joy ride.
Towing companies are usually owned by ex cops that know how to play the law without getting caught. They are thieves with a diploma in law enforcement. On my crooks score board they rank right next to the attorneys.
